Embrace Relief’s various International Hunger Relief Campaigns are designed to combat the international hunger crisis and help as many people as possible around the globe – but this cannot be done without your help. This year, Qurban is held from July 31st to August 3rd.

This meat is humanely and hygienically handled coming from goats, sheep, and cattle. Since refrigeration is a rarity in places like sub-saharan Africa, many people cut, salt, and dry their Qurban and eventually reduce it to a powder-like substance so it can last them up to a year of vital.
Thanks to your support, Embrace Relief has distributed 906 Qurban meat packages to families who are facing severe food insecurity. Since refrigeration is often a rarity in sub-Saharan Africa, many recipients cut, salt, dry, and grind the meat into a powder which they can sprinkle into foods and drinks.

From the Philippines to Yemen where famine is rampant, to refugee families in Greece and low-income neighborhoods in the United States, ER volunteers worked for days to prepare and take meat packages to the houses of people in need.
