Atticus was finally ready (for the most part), but we only had $2,000 in our bank accounts. Rather than spend another year working in the States, and waiting for our cruising adventure to begin, we set sail for Cuba in January of 2017 and crossed our fingers that we’d find work beyond the horizon.
